Shot Coffee, which opened in March, is founded by three best friends: Amije, Kendra, and Isadee. Despite knowing nothing about making coffee, they turned their dream into reality with this trendy coffee and lifestyle shop. Through TikTok and Instagram, they’ve brought their followers along for the ride, creating a loyal community of future customers. After a successful collaboration with PLTS and Cosmopolitan, they’ve truly put their business on the map. 2. Pilates for Her (a safe, empowering space for women to move and thrive)
Pilates for Her opened its doors on July 15, 2024, and quickly became a favourite among women in Amsterdam. Founded by Dicle Adrianna Amara Bode, the studio was born from her personal journey after converting to Islam. Dicle wanted to create a space where women could feel completely themselves (whether in a hijab or not) and get strong together. Now, Pilates for Her at Albert Cuypstraat 202 is thriving, offering a welcoming environment with classes taught by women from all backgrounds. It’s a stunning example of a business built by women, for women.
3. JUULZ Lunchroom (a cozy Italian oasis in the heart of Haarlem)
JUULZ is your new go-to spot for a laid-back, Italian-inspired lunch break or post-work recharge. This coffee and pinsa bar focuses on quality and flavor, with artisanal pinsas made from the finest Italian ingredients. The owner, a young entrepreneur who graduated from hotel school in Haarlem, opened the doors of JUULZ less than a year after graduating at the age of 19. Her vision?
